Seattle because I've never been to america and also I like shadowrun :)
>>

I love rain I'd have to pick Seattle
>>
>>39392548
>>39392599

According to various websites, Seattle is only 33% cloudy/rainy yearly. Is it that bad
>>
>>39392673
>only 33%
i guess some places are worse but imagine just being overcast for a third of your life
>>
>>39392521

Seattle.

I like vidya and the internet in Hawaii is shit.
>>
>>39392911
>the internet in Hawaii is shit.

Is this true? I'd love to live where I can travel for cheap to exotic places but fuck having shitty internet
>>
>>39392521
Seattle
>get taxed to death
>full of communists and hipsters
>comfy rainy weather

Hawaii
>taxed to death
>communists and liberals everywhere
>hot and humid weather
>beautiful scenery
>probably tons of hot bitches who are dtf

Really makes you think...
>>
>>39393071
>communists and liberals everywhere
IDK, Hawaii is full of natives and SEAmonkeys, are they really that liberal
>>
neither,

unless you are super fucking rich , good luck at either one
>>
>>39393071
>>39393101
Born and raised in Hawaii, now living in Seattle.

Hawaii is pretty liberal but they're not in-your-face liberal like on the West coast. It's more laid back, protect the Earth, hippie liberal.

Oh, and neither place has actual commies. Yeah, maybe some tumblr kids larping as commies but it's just kids trying to be edgy and shef their middle class suburb roots.
>>
I'd choose Seattle
I feel like Hawaii would get old after a few months at most
>>
>>39393206
So how expensive is it? I've lived in North Jersey and LA but I've heard it's more expensive. How's the food?
>>

Also born and raised in Hawaii (ho nah fakah) and lived in Seattle for a couple years.

It's totally different laid-back cultures nestled in beautiful areas. Seattle has the perks of being cheaper, and since it's on the mainland you can travel elsewhere easier if that's your thing.

>bads about Seattle
Cold as fuck all the time even when it's warm because of humidity, the weather is so depressing it literally as its own name (The Grey). The people are NOT friendly. It's typical hipsterism shit; they are "nice," but not kind. Everything thinks they're hot shit in some form or another and there's nothing to do. Seattle is a decently sized city, so I was always weirded out by how little was going on there. I felt like I lived in a ghost town much of the time.

>Why Hawaii is good
Nice weather year round if a little hot, literally world class beaches and world class mountains, there are some sluts there that are way too hot for their own good, and everyone has at least some form of the aloha spirit (except mokes, fuck them).

>Why Hawaii is bad
If you're white then hello racism, it's FUCKING expensive, job market isn't terrible it won't win any awards, Oahu has bullshit traffic, and if you want to get away and travel, have fun paying at least 600 for a plane ticket out.

All in all I'd choose Hawaii if I were looking to just have a "normal" job and live life. The place kind of actively encourages you to feel happy, whereas Seattle is neutral like everywhere else. You'll have tons of fun pretending to be a moke with your friends. It's like making fun of black people but it's not racist ayy

So how's Kona? That's where my job would be?

Seattle, weather is comfy over there. The heatwave in Sacramento is killing me.
>>
>>39393665

I used it twice. Get over it

>>39393497

Kona has nothing going for it in a good way. It's the burnt, volcanic part of the island, which looks super cool all the time. I'm not from that island but have family there; I remember some decent beaches, cool hikes, and chill vibe. More white people in that area. Hilo side is where the OG locals cruise. If were to live anywhere on the Big Island it'd be Kona or around there.
>>
>>39393683
Yes. But do does Hawaii. And in either case they want to date Chad.
>>
>>39393349
Hawaii is expensive as hell. Good luck ever buying a house on Oahu. Seattle is also crazy expensive but at least you can live outside of the city and commute.

Food in either cities is good in different ways. Hawaii has amazing asian and seafood. Pretty much ditto for Seattle but you can also get other stuff. Personally, I think Portland has way better food than Seattle but that's just one man's opinion.
>>
>>39392521
I used to live in the Seattle metropolitan area and it was great.

Now I live in the Atlanta metropolitan area and it sucks ass.
>>
Seattle. Washington has a similar climate to the one I'm used to. I can't do that tropical shit anyway
>>
Neither if I have my current finances but if money weren't an issue then Seattle because it's part of the 48 and the weather is cozy and theres lots of "le nerd" related shit there.

Hawaii. It'll be easier to survive the winter there as a homeless person.
>>
>>39395544

Homelessness is low key chill as fuck in HI
>>
Definitely Seattle, living out in "paradise" for too long is gonna plain such. Plus as beautiful as Hawaii is, it's definitely much more of a normie place than a big city with different neighborhoods that cater to different social cliques.
>>
>Born and raised in eastern WA
>Basically an entirely different state from western WA
>Move to Seattle area a couple years ago
>Holy shit what the fuck everything is SO FUCKING EXPENSIVE
>Moving to Arizona as soon as my lease is up

Enjoying paying at least $1000/month for rent. A shitty house will cost half a million. House prices are increasing faster here than anywhere in the nation, it's been doing this all year
>>
>>39393451
>Oahu has bullshit traffic
This is a load of shit. I drove there for a month while all the normies chirped that "we have the WOOORST traffic here" line in my ears and it was never remotely bad.
>>
>>39396620
Oh yeah, Seattle traffic is among the worst in the nation. Rush hour is terrible and you do not drive during that time.
>>
>>39396651

Ive lived in NORTH jERSEY and LA so Im used to it
>>
>>39396620

It vies for the top three spot for worst traffic in the nation every single year. Did you drive off hours or not town side? Because 3-7 is fucking garbage on the highways, leaving you to weave through side streets which maaay be faster.

Seattle by far. It's a pretty comfy city, been there a few times. I'd be too worried about getting swept up in a hurricane in Hawaii.

Seattle because I've had my fill of the beach and never enjoyed hot weather. Also Washington state seems like a nice place to live in general.

I've never not gotten a big checque on tax day and on a paycheck of $800 I usually only have $30 taken from me.
So what the hell are you talking about?

How's the summer in Seattle? Hot af?

What is there to do in Arizona anyway? I'm really interested in outdoors type stuff like camping, hiking, and surfing. Hawaii seems like a pretty ideal place to me since there are areas where you can do all 3 in pretty close proximity to one another (woods, mountain, beach). But Arizona is mostly desert from what I understand, and while it does look beautiful, what can you actually do there?
>>
Probs Hawaii, if only because of the beaches and lifestyle
>>
>>39399590
The fuck's going on in Arkansas and Mississippi?
>>
>>39400822
Northern Arizona has mountains and snow
>>
>>39400973
Huh, didn't know that. Man, there are so many cool places and I just want to experience all of them. I'm currently trying to decide what the best career path would be to do that and right now I'm going for marine biology. Get to live and work in and around the ocean, travel to remote places to do field work, camp and hike on weekends, and hopefully I can use vacation time to visit places I normally wouldn't like snowy mountains and deserts. It's not the best paying job, but IMO it's preferable to making more money in a job I don't like and only getting to experience nature on vacation days.
>>
>>39400681
It gets to 80-90 for a week or two. Only 1/3 of housing has AC though...

Hawaii. Although closer to North Korea, higher cost of living and takes a lot longer to receive deliveries, no nuclear power plants or nuclear waste sites, except for ordinance testing on Koho'olawe.
>>
>>39393451
>If you're white then hello racism,
What do you mean by this?
>>
Born and raised haole, never lived in Seattle but I've visited.

Hawaii is fucking chad/stacy central. I have never been in a place more normie. The lifestyle and culture actively encourages not being a robot so even the lowest of low are still mini chadlets. Not to mention it's rampant with military men snatching up all the moanas and qt azns

At least strangers are always pretty nice. The aloha spirit is real
>>
>>39392521
For the climate? Hawaii. For everything else? Seattle. So it would have to be Seattle, and I'd make a point of taking weekend getaways and such for a change of scene.
