And effort is a result of genetics and enviromental factors. A person that was raised by parents that fed him shitty foods and didn't encourage him to socialize or do sports with a gene to store fat and a gene with a mental illness is more likely to put effort than a person with none of those. It is possible, but it is less likely. Genetics are a major factor on our choices and conditions. Not the only ones, but a major one.
