I read a book that started off like this once. The guy lost his memory and was compensated by the government to the tune of $50 million. He went mad trying to recreate his memories. He erected a building similar to the one he used to live in, then recreated all the buildings in his neighborhood. It's not that hard to build a house, the foundation and electrical are really the big things you need to not fuck up -- and even the foundation can be fixed later, they used to build miners houses in my hometown on foundations of untreated wood buried in the dirt.

I really don't need anything more than that. I love long walks, I'm always walking along the coast because I live on the coast. It would be nice to travel so some more scenic areas and go for hikes there, there are so many nice places in America. Id love to stargaze as well. I've never seen the night sky not smothered by light pollution. I have no longing for expensive cars and other eccentric purchases. A nice cosey homestead for me and my wife
