Anyone else feel that you're not creative despite having artistic goals?
Opposite, not creative but feel I could write a good book
Unfortunately everything I write sounds like an autist, so its gotta be in the right context

I feel creative but can't draw.

All the time, I love graphic design but im fucking garbage, i look at other peoples work and just want to stop and never try, but its still fun, it just ends up being depressing. I would love to take it seriously but i know ill never be good enough really

I always wanna draw but I'm just so lazy to do it, and the fear of it being subpar makes it even worse.
my lifes only goals are artistic. it's stupid, and naive, and unemployment central - but ive been a neet 6 years so idm.
the thing that hits me hardest is discipline and motivation. but also thinking that you need to have a vast imagination, I worry I don't have that some times. so yeah, I guess.

always compare your work to previous works. don't compare yourself to others, it's about your self improvement friend.

well of course you're going to be shit when you start. that's how it works
EVERY artist gets good by continuing to practice
>tfw haven't improved with drawing even though I have been doing it for years
>just recently learned all the skills you need to produce a decent comic

>practice for a year
>no improvement
is this "b urself" of /i/?

depends on how you practice, bud
if you never actively seek out imperfections in your art and go about, in your head AND on paper, fixing them - you won't get no where.
the correct term is 'perfect practice makes perfect'.
