While I completely agree with you that hug your family threads should be banned - why exactly did you get warned?

Saying "they evade the robot so I can too" is pretty pure what aboutism - and at the very least they don't do it explicitly anymore.

I think most reasonable people interpret the "original content" rule / filter to mean "no generals" but since the threads are left up I guess there's nothing we can do

They aren't made for incest. Sure, there's a handful of sister/brotherfuckers in there, but the threads aren't made for them. If they left, the threads would be better.
Incest threads are much more obvious, like "What would you do if your sister/mother did/wore this?" or "Have you ever __ a family member?"
Hug your family threads are made with the intention of improving robot lives.
