what's the best and strongest form of escapism /r9k/? i need something that makes me completly forget that my life is shit and that i will never have a gf and live a happy life
videosgames? maybe some sort of MMO? anime? movies/tv series? drugs? collecting plastic crap? books? comics? i need something to be obsessive about that makes forget all the other shit

Gaming works. Also got a VR headset which is great and sometimes therapeutic though there's not much content for it. Whatever keeps your mind occupied and focused on anything that's not reality will work for you. Just depends on your tastes.
Vidya, drugs will wear off and when they do coming back to terms with reality is harder than if you never took them.
Find something that you'll never be done with, like philosofy or psychology or trading shitcoins or vidya or series or anime.
The above work for me.

Sleep my dear anon, sleep.

Anime
Single player games
2D porn
Movies/TV
I would recommend staying away from boards like /r9k/ and /pol/, it will just remind you of bullshit in the world.
Strongest: Opiates/opiods, narcotics, alcohol
Best (I assume you mean least destructive): MMORPG's, competitive games with a high skill-ceiling, personal fitness, any academic pursuit.

Your imagination. I spend god knows how long daydreaming and I still lead a productive (albeit lonely and not so happy) life

if you can time travel and go to 2004, get WoW
>an hero in 2014
Eat these bad boys and you won't even be able to think of any of your other problems.
For me personally, sleeping and porn. By porn I mean edging to my niche weird fantasies whilst browsing related stuff. Being a porn addict absolutely fucking sucks though I wouldn't recommend it.

i do the same in combination with vidya. i self insert into games and stuff but it's getting harder the older i get

>escapism
- buy a campervan
- go stealth vandwelling
- enjoy nature while nobody talks to you, nobody stares at you, nobody is around you
>let the wind cuddle you, let the rain kiss you, let the stars stare at you, let the sun smile at you
in six months of solo vandwelling you'll get rid of at least 90% of toxic shit from your soul

Cryptocurrency + Vidya + Anime
It's an extremely potent combination.

This. If you want to escape, honestly get off 4chan.

Drugs eventually become less and less helpful over time. They're good as a temporary fix, or a shortcut to an early grave however.
>>39362540
Also a good suggestion here.
Daydreaming WHILE you play vidya, if you're grinding / not having fun in that momen is extra special. Oh, I just grinded for 6 hours while being in my own daydream world?

This, except life is suffering.
Every year that goes by, I realise happiness is impossible.
>>39362203
Drugs. Specifically shit like dissociatives, which will completely block out reality in any meaningful sense. I recommend methoxetamine or ketamine, but PCP and it's analogues are also good. DXM will work in a pinch if you can't into darknet, but its weaker and more expensive per effective dose.
They are also addictive and once you get hooked, you will get the obsession you seek.

I have sex with men off Grindr its fun and a way out
>>39362203
hard drugs, anon.
>>39363098
i wish i could start using the drugs you are listing but i can't even get weed around here
i just don't know where to get them and i might be too much of a pussy to take stuff like dmt

Heroin you scared little fuck.
>>39362203
MMOs work best for me. Also I listen to audiobooks a lot, particularly while exercising or doing stuff around my house.
I used to do a lot of drugs when I was younger (almost everything, but mostly coke/pills/booze), that shit isn't worth it. I still smoke weed and do psychedelics two or three times a year to clean my head out, but that's pretty much it.

Best idea in the thread.
Do you have any family? Nobody minds your lifestyle?
vidya is dying
>>39362203
Roleplaying games, books and ketamine are my go-tos
And very rarely alcohol as well. I generally dislike alcohol, but feeling its effects every few months is nice.
Good vidya to escape reality?
I had PS Home for that, but the fuckers killed it.

Learn the violin, you can buy a cheap set on Amazon that comes with a case and everything. That's what I did two years ago and feels good now
>>39362203
Looking for a solution to a problem that interests you. If you're a NEET you can spend days thinking about absolutely nothing but finding a solution.
>>39364974
City building games, (4X) strategy games, farming games a la stardew valley, maybe MMOs if that's more your thing
>>39364995
Where did you learn? Took actual lessons or online guides?
>>39362203
i watch seinfeld every day for at least three hours anon. works for me. that and anti-depressants.
>>39364901
you know that cyberpunk 2077 is coming in 2019 right?
>>39362203
listening to trippy music while high on dxm in a dark room. you feel quite refreshed aswell when you're back to normal.
Creating a large project in Minecraft is great escapism, especially if you add your own lore, and build your own world with voxelsniper stuff.
