I've had a car since 16 but I've never felt free.

I don't feel like I have the temperament to just drive someplace and make it on my own. I worry about money mostly. I don't know what I'd do once o got there.
I was in Palm Springs by myself not too long ago and I ended up just going to a movie after driving around aimlessly for a few hours because I literally could not think of anything else to do.

I don't think I understand traveling. At least not without a set destination or goal like X attraction.

too much shit. i got a driving license in my 20s but as a NEET it's not worth me getting a car because 1. the traffic is too heavy and i am scared to drive, 2. i don't have anywhere to go and 3. costs too much.

I drive one of these (mk6 Fiesta, UK). It's my first car.
It's got a few issues and I'm a little worried it's going to fail its MOT in December and I probably shouldn't have paid as much as I did for it but I still like it. It's fun, albeit terrifying at times.
