Got my remarks back. My History went up by 2 marks which brought it to an A, the others all remained unchanged. My grades now are ABB (Plus Distinction* in BTEC Law). I'm pleased it went up but it wasn't as much as I was hoping. I've emailed the admissions tutor for my college who I've been in contact with since results day and told him what the results of my remarks are. I also said that I was really unsure what to do and asked for his advice. He hasn't responded yet, probably won't until Tuesday now. Whether I reapply or not depends on what he says my chances are, whether needing to resit is detrimental, etc.

I'm more considering going to Bristol now. It is a good university and Distinction* + ABB aren't bad grades. I would of course resit the other ones anyway because I know I can do much better. I'm worried that I'd be throwing away my offer from them and might not get another offer from Bristol if I reapply to Cambridge. I like the look of the university (pic related on the right is actually the law building) and the city itself sounds very nice. Plus I don't know if I really want to stay at home for another year. It would be good to get away.

Should I have all my textbooks and stuff by now? I don't have any. Term starts on the 18th September
