Reasons you haven't committed suicide.
Pic related. I bought a macaw, it's pretty sweet even if my hands are constantly bleeding or bruised.
Post more pics of this qt, anon. Parrots are the best animals.

i had a bird like that once
i saved it from my trailer trash aunt and her (literally) autistic son
they would push his cage to the ground and laugh
they gave him to us and we gave him the best life we could
he died shortly after though
>bird pets
never again. you think they're cute and might repeat funny sentences but all they do is screech and bite with their sharp ass beaks
>>39298472
idk what bird you had but mine was the sweetest in the world
he would perch on my finger and i would pet him and he would just stand there
>>39298433
Makes me sad to hear. Birds are for cuddles and not for bullying.
Death scares me
Want to know what the future looks like
I don't have many picture of duck but I'll post what I have
>>39298472
you don't know screeching until you've had any jungle parrot.
Holy shit this little macaw can defean you for hours if he wants to.
>>39298643
Cuuuute. Warms my heart.
Text needed to post image
>>39298573
I'd like to but it's tough when their beaks can crack open a walnut like you or I open a can of beer.
>>39298669
This is now an originally comfy thread.
He likes anything that is fluffy
I broke up with my girlfriend of three years whom I met thrice during that time for three weeks in total. I adopted a lovebird three months after the break up. He flew away on third day of him being in my house, before I name him even. So yeah, three.
I had a budgie who was an absolute Bro
I'd open his cage when I get home and leave it open all night and he'd fly on to my shoulder, preen my hair and nibble my ear and go to sleep on me and fly back in his cage, if I said his name he'd come flying
They're suspiciously intelligent
>Getting a macaw
>Not getting a Cockatoo
You done fucked up.
>>39298702
aaaaaah. too much cute
>>39298655
>>39298524
I had an African Grey and a Cockatiel
both were birb shaped demons from hell
>>39298722
I can't have a large bird at the moment because of my current living arrangments, so I got a miniature macaw instead.
Still pretty sweet desu.
>>39297965
Man I wish I had a bird. Or a dog. Just a retarded cat instead.
>>39298737
forgot my pic asdnhu
Nice thread. Keep macaw pics rollin' in. I'm a huge Rio fan. Rio II as well.
>>39298036
that bird looks comfy af
This is probably my most pure pic of him, but I haven't taken any recently either, so, last pic for now. He talks
>>39298737
I've heard Grey's are pretty smart, so if it wanted to fuck you up, I have no doubt that it would find a way.
>>39298843
No pic attached because I'm retarded
>>39298643
Damn, that looks fucking cute.
Poorfag I'm me says you should of bought a high powered rifle to an hero instead of bird, des. Can't imagine how much you spent. I'd eat it myself, but happy future memories to you guys, anon-kun.
>>39298885
>Live in Aus
Guns are expensive
Had a bird like that as a kid. It flew over my sister once and shat on her, was hilarious. He died due to poisoning from some defective cleaning mat we had in the oven.
>>39297965
Where can I buy one of those birds?
>>39298962
It's called a Hanh's Macaw
There's something similar called a Severe Macaw that grows a bit larger, but they're not too difficult to find. If you're in Australia you can find breeders on Gumtree. I got mine just just outside Sydney.
Worth driving 7 hours to get him
I havent seen the new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm yet.
>>39297965
Cute bird. He looks happy.
Reasons:
>Haven't read all my books
>Possibility for new Animal Crossing games (fuck off its comfy)
>Weed
>Family
>Possibility of new Elder Scrolls
>I'm interested in seeing the world submit to chaos
>High possibility of getting an actual, real, fucking PC instead of this gay-ass Mac that can't run the vidya
>The color red. No for real. And no I don't cut myself I just admire red a lot it inspires me
>I haven't read all my mangas
>I haven't watched all the animes
>I haven't learned a musical instrument (goalz)
>I haven't become magically rich enough to purchase all the old Nintendo Powers that are missing from my collection
>>39297965
I don't plan to die in a helpless manner.
I'd like to do everything I can before I die.
I'm doing everything I can to ensure my death is orderly and my corpse will be as far away from the filthy hands of civilization as possible.
>>39297965
It takes a lot of courage which I don't have.
I cross my fingers for a cancer of some brain tumor. I like the idea of dying in hospital under a bright light.
>>39299165
Pretty good reasons
>>39299202
Got a bucket list?
>>39299309
Seems really specific
>>39297965
>family (including grandparents)
>a bunch of vidya/shows I'm waiting for
>still haven't been to Los Angeles
>still haven't been to Tokyo
>still didn't trek on a desert Pacific island for a few days
>>39299419
The island stuff sounds like a really fun idea. Something unique
>>39299165
You posted a cute bird too
>>39299428
Ever since I played Far Cry and watched a bunch of TV shows about it it's been on my mind. I'll probably get a guide but going for a few days or a week is something which I think could potentially change the way I see things.
>still have anime i want to watch
>have a backlog of models to build/paint
but most importantly i still have some money and a place to live
i've always been more homicidal than suicidal anyway
>i've always been more homicidal than suicidal anyway
>>39299397
>bucket list
Hope I don't sound pretentious, but I plan on acquiring as many practical skills (ex. cooking, carpentry, plumbing).
I think these are the kinds of skills that would have you always on-demand in the job market and would actually take a normal person as I am the farthest.
Once I acquire the funds I plan on going to either the North or South Pole and just die there.
In case I don't I plan for a relative to bury me somewhere remote.
>>39297965
because i want to watch the third season of mr robot and because i dont want my parents to have incredible heartbreak
also i want to see how technology advances
>>39298706
>flew away
Dude what?
Did you just let it out near an open window? I don't think you were looking after it right
>>39299532
>Zoids
holy shit I forgot these things existed
so badass
>>39297965
my parents are the only reason tbqh
>>39299818
They're pretty expensive compared to gundam. That one right there was $45 on amazon and was the cheapest. For some reason I can't find a white Liger Zero for less than $70 and i don't think they're worth that
>>39299619
Nah, sounds pretty reasonable desu
Why not die on Everest or something?
Birds live for like 40-50 years, sometimes a couple decades longer. Good luck waiting this one out.
My wife's made it clear that if I commit suicide, she's going to do it, too. She may be bullshitting, but in case she's not, I don't want to be responsible.
>>39300053
>Buying a pet for it to die before you
I'm totally okay with this bird dying after I do
>>39300103
As long as you know someone who will take care of it. It might go through horrible grief if you die and it's left with a shitty owner.
>>39300090
cyo0ot
>>39300090
>Married
Why are you on r9k
Don't you have like, a life by now
>>39300147
I got 30 years to prepare. He's not even a year old.
>>39299935
>Everest
It's much more accessible, being near China and India.
Being a remote location, there's a chance future scientists would discover my remains and revive me with their technology, although I wouldn't hold my breath about it.
My parents own a parrot that is absolutely fucking crazy. I think it's because they don't give him attention and leave him in his cage all day.
How do I socialize this bird so that he isn't afraid of humans? He's already 15 years old at least... I want to love him but he bites me, which doesn't bother me but he won't let me come near him.
He looks like pic related and can only say a few words, like "hello", "what are you doing" and "how are you doing baby"
>>39300323
No one is ever going to bother with the bodies from everest because they're so hard to bring down. I think you're pretty safe.
>>39300387
The biting is something that just lowers with time, it sounds like he wants to bond with you, but you're just going to need to get gloves or something to do it. My hands are cut to shit from Duck's beak, it can take up to two years to form a bond.
Also that's an Indian Ring Neck.
>>39300387
Start by getting him to step up onto a stick and then putting him back down on a perch, slowly move hand closer along the stick every day until he steps up on hand, work from there.
>>39297965
i finally started HRT after 5 years of waiting
now i dont want to die ive just become comfortable with disconnecting from my body
>>39297965
i don't feel bad enough yet but i'm working towards it.
>>39300090
are you doing stuff to improve your situation?
>>39300485
I understand that there are a lot of untouched stranded corpses on the Everest, but I would like to be proactive and protect my corpse from defilement and general tampering and plotting my death towards a remote a place as possible should be reasonable move to that end.
>>39300716
Fair call.
>>39300201
I spent the last six years on a failing home-based business and am just now working again, so I'm basically at the level of a collge student or recent graduate in terms of life development, minus the wife part. We certainly can't afford kids until I get a job in my field that pays well.
>>39300672
I've been seeing a psychiatrist and am on a shitload of meds. None of them seem to be alleviating my depression. The fact that I hate the country I recently moved to and can't leave until my lease is up is certainly contributing.
>>39300801
Harsh times, but they do say every millionaire has been bankrupt at least 3 times or something
>>39299165
>PC
Be prepared to pay around double for RAM, SSD and GPU compared to last year.
>>39297965
Fear of dying, but mostly the fear of going to Hell, killing myself is painful. I eventually plan on doing it though, hoping to lose my virginity before I do. Also it would devastate my mother, but society hates me and considers me a failure.
>>39297965
Grand strategy games.
That's about it.
only have access to pills and too afraid of becoming a vegetable instead of actually dying
too much of a puss for pain
too afraid exit bag will fail
i need absolute 100% guarantee that the method will work and be painless and haven't found one yet. the closest I can think of is tons of benzos + booze = stop breathing in my sleep but even then there's risk I'll just fuck up my brain but not die and then it would be even harder.
>>39297965
My parrot is probably going to die to the end of the week. Nothing I can do about it he is very old(32 years old cockatiel). Today he stopped eating again, and he does not want painkillers.
>>39301614
32 years is really good for a cockatiel.
I'm sorry for you Anon. My condolences
I've already gone past the point of being suicidal and i'm already delving deeper and deeper into pessimistic nihilism
Simply, I don't want to burn ;_;
>>39300387
Try to not jerk your hand away when he bites. Wear gloves or something. If you pull away that teaches him that biting you makes you fuck off.
Purely and only /r9k/
waiting for destiny 2 to release, but it'll probably be mediocre and I'll kill myself shortly after
>>39297965
Scared.
May be getting a security job soon.
Want to find a good way that doesn't involve a gun and thus contributing to statistics.
Have a best friend that needs me right now as much as I need him.
Have family that cares about me.
Haven't become a voice actor yet.
Haven't become a good marksman yet.
Haven't seen the future I want to make for myself yet.
>>39298845
What the fuck is that blue faggotry around your neck anon?
