Not that autists don't do well in IT, but why the fuck do they need a diversity movement promoting them? People know autists are good at IT.

Imagine this, you are an employer, and you are interviewing two employees. One of them is a regular average looking dude, wearing some business casual clothing, gives you a firm handshake, seems averagely socialable. The other one comes into the room, says "BAZINGA", is wearing an anime reaction face t-shirt, never maintains eye contact at any time, and hasn't showered in a week.

Which one of those two people do you think are going to be better at working with computers? I mean, sure the former might be better at interacting with other people, but I mean, there is no way I would assume the first person had any fucking clue how to do shit like IT. I would assume he just started in IT because he heard it was a good career that could provide for his family, while I would assume the latter likely got into IT because they spent 14 hours a day on the internet.

I think some people just want to feel like social activists, autists are already overrepresented in IT.
