I can see them positive changes opening up like this is having, it's like having a second, much calmer inner voice that has a completely different way of contextualising my experiences in ways that still make very obvious logical sense but result in far less anxiety for me, and through exposure to this second voice I am simultaneously training my own inner voice to be less reactionary.

But the process is fucking expensive. Honestly mental health send like something the government would have vested interest in supporting, I'm surprised it's not a part of many social programs

That's not how it works at all.
They don't adhere to consistency, what they want fluctuates all the time, they'll know it when they see it and they abhor any methodology that would dissect it into logical consistent outcomes that can be manipulated by making some adjustments here and there. They only go when the whole package is right, you can't cut it up into pieces, it's futile and even if that would not be the case it would still be useless because it's your role to sell your package, to yourself first of all, you have to like yourself and then work on presenting that to others in a way that they will also want to enjoy being in your presence.
