A few reasons anon

Men are more impatient and take more risks then women are more patient when it comes to choosing.

Have you ever heard of the gender belt curve? Simple fact is that girls tend to be more average while guys have a higher proportion of people at the very high end and low end. This is why most of the smartest people in the world are guys and why most of the darwin award winners are guys.

The other thing is that speaking from a purely evolutionary perspective, women want their children to have the best genes so naturally they only go for the best until they have to settle for less. This is why most o them crave chad.

Guys can impregnate as many girls as they want so the best win. Fortunately there is a benefit of having gene diversity and the simple fact that someone has to actually provide for the child and women afterwards so luckily that helps even the odds a bit.

Also more men are born than women. This evened out due to men dying all the time but with a 1st world lifestyle there is a slight imbalance. As a lonely woman: I'm at work or at home with my parents. I'd like to go out more but its a self reinforcing cycle, it's not fun going alone so you don't go social places. People are already with their friends so they aren't going to include you in their fun. The lonely guys don't go there for those same reasons so I can't meet them there. I spend an embarrassing amount of time walking around and window shopping to speak to salespeople.
