I hate that this mentality stuck with me. I can't enjoy anything because I'm unemployed and feel like if I'm "well enough" to play video games/watch tv/read a book then I should be "well enough" to be working. And since I'm unemployed I just lay around all day doing nothing depressed because I can't do anything

Honestly this is part of why I hate my mother. There is no reason for her to be a bitch about stuff like that. I was even home vomiting once and she refused to let me play vidya. I'm staying home because I'm contagious, not because I'm literally bed-ridden. Refusing someone something to do while they're sick is sadism.
