Anyone tried Kava? did it help your anxiety/depression? Ive been reluctant to try is because Big Pharma created a fake rumor that it damages the liver when in reality it was like 50 people out of over 100 million people and they usually had alcohol and drug problems which makes it likely safer than most pharmaceutical drugs

Kava's OK. You can buy it over the counter in certain brands of tea or in the supplement section at stores like CVS. It probably won't help with depression though. It's just like a really weak fraction of what you'd get out of a low grade prescription painkiller like vicodin or something.

There's this fucking amazing mix at a local kava bar.
It's basically Kava and Kratom, it's fucking amazing, makes you feel relaxed AND focused at the same time, try taking both.

Tastes terrible and kind of a pain in the ass to make. It very simply feels like alot of your nerves in your body are shutting down: you just feel heavy and numb. Not a bad experience. Interesting info about the pillpushers spreading rumors about things like this

I don't know who did it really but who else could've been behind it

Well the question that obviously needs to be asked is: was this research genuine or was it fabricated for alternative purposes?
It's possible the stuff really is hard on your liver. It's also possible insidious billionaires saw this as a threat to their industrial control, and moved to counter it under the table. Both very likely possibilities.

It really did cause liver damage in some people and that resulted in bans in germany, but they found the amount of people effected was so small it didn't justify a ban and the ban was removed it was probably because they were using the leaves and stems rather than the root which should only be used

I've had many kinds of kava. Capsules, tea, extracts... tastes really nice but doesn't do anything noticeable.
