Unironically you need to stop visiting /r9k/ and any other sort of lonely-clubs on the internet. Visiting here sucks the fun out of literally anything because all day you're reminded how worthless you are. The only way I found that escapism can work is if you're not constantly aware of how shit things are.

I tried that, for 6 months. Didn't work, only made me feel even worse because I missed reading the stupid shit people posted. I hate it here but this is the only place where I feel at home.
