What hope is there for someone who has no interest in the normalshit life and has no money?
>>
I imagine you do not understand life, are unironically a basement dwelling social reject, and are depressed because you are an aimless wastrel.

Look around, there is a lot of variation in business and lifestyle. Find something to do and try to do it.

What a presumptive faggot. I have zero interest in your primitive culture or your 32 flavors of slavery. Get rekt. I'm starting to think more all the time that my only real option is to buy whatever land I can afford and build the cheapest house I can and become self-sufficient. Your society needs to die. Fuck the rich. Kill the rich.
>>
>>39238862
I thought you had no money?
haha, good luck becoming self sufficient, you can't even find purpose or gainful employment.
Get rekt...? Good luck on your journey to self sufficiency. You can't take part in division of labor so I'm sure you'll manage to do everything you need all by yourself just fine, that's usually how ineptitude works.
>>
The young cannot afford houses .

Let it crash.

I have a small amount of student loan money, but not much. It would have to be a crazy small parcel of land or I'd have to make some kind of unique deal. Lack of funds is why I haven't already.

Oh I excel at agriculture. I don't need you. I'm also not terrible at architecture or handiwork in general.

>you can't even find purpose or gainful employment
Lol you fucking faggot. My life isn't defined by servitude to your rabid greed. Enjoy your system reking the shit out of itself as people continue to jump shit. Keep your fucking Wal*Marts and Goldman Sachs. We're leaving this bitch.

Why don't you grow food and save up some money and buy an actual property, instead of an insanely small one with someone else's money in a fictional special deal that will get taken away from you when they realize you won't pay them?

that would be a plan that makes sense. Using the money left over from having dropped out of college to put a down payment on unproductive land is not a good idea.

People act like it's Capitalism vs Communism, but in reality our brand of corrupt, amoral capitalism is drowning the young, the poor, and destroying the middle class as money siphons off into the wealthiest families. America is teetering on the brink of losing its spending power per-person and the resulting economic collapse that follows. All this talk of "milenniels killing industries" is actually "young people no longer have the money to support industries or pay for things they used to pay for." Yet some people think the only solution is total revolution and that somehow reforming this system is impossible. Because that's exactly what young people have been subverted into thinking, that it's two shades of authoritarianism (fascism and communism) and that free speech is spooky.
I'm so fucking jaded it's absurd. And the worst part is the system is probably far more rotted at the core than we can see or understand.

Both the right and the left believe the elite are corrupt and that the system has failed us, both of them want to revolt but the us vs them mentality keeps the status quo in check.
>>
>>39239011
Knock yourself out, dude.

Just so you know: if you buy land, and then grow food and stuff on that land to fulfill your needs, you are engaging in...capitalism.

Capitalism is the system that allows you to own that property. Capitalism is the system that allows you to own your own labor, and either trade it with others or NOT trade it, as you choose.

Every last socialist system ever devised would tell you that it doesn't fucking matter if you like the rest of us or not, you get to show up and do the work we tell you to do...or you're fucking dead.

In collectivist systems there is no such thing as not participating in human society. It's not fucking up to you. The needs of others come first, and no one will listen to your whiny MUH AUTISM bullshit excuses.

Do you know how many guys managed to get out of their labor assignment on Soviet collective farms due to MUH AUTISM? Zero.
>>
>>39239176
>Yet some people think the only solution is total revolution and that somehow reforming this system is impossible.
Oh the answer is revolution alright. Just not socialist revolution. The human species needs drastically depopulated. That's going to fix 99% of the problems today. All the capitalists need fucked with pikes.

>reforming this system is impossible
It is. The powerful will always fight to retain their power, and there will always be merc sell-outs willing to side with the rich versus the future of mankind. The future is Elysium but shittier. I'm goin innawoods. Fuck the humans.

>And the worst part is the system is probably far more rotted at the core than we can see or understand.
It started rotten. And it will end dead.

>>39239213
Sounds like he has the right idea.

>>39239224
They're both right.

>but the us vs them mentality keeps the status quo in check.
No. Male self-absorption and greed keeps the system in check. Remember that state socialism has always been the the mirror image of capitalism. If you think the typical nuserf had the same power and wealth as Stalin in the USSR you're mistaken.
>>
>>39239259

>>39239259
>do you know how many guys managed to get out of their labor assignment on Soviet collective farms due to MUH AUTISM? Zero.

Not only did their environment harden them, but
they're also a part of a generation where families stuck together and children were raised properly by parents.

This society we have now makes people weak.
>>
>>39239183
You said you have no money, which to me means you have no money. By grow food, I meant sell your excellent agricultural skills. Ok, I get it you don't want an actual course of action, hope you manage to scrape up some magic land deal somehow. It would be nice, but it probably will turn bad because you are too poor to get enough land to sustain yourself and you aren't willing to engage the system because it offends your delicate sensibilities. I hope that's not an assumption, you could just be lazy, but I assume you're disgruntled from having been a loser.

>>39239292
that guy isn't me, but when your balls drop you might realize the world doesn't need your permission to exist.

>People act like it's Capitalism vs Communism, but in reality our brand of corrupt, amoral capitalism is drowning the young, the poor, and destroying the middle class as money siphons off into the wealthiest families.

The upper middle class is much more your enemy than the super-rich.

Zuckerberg isn't really messing with me.

Why are houses overpriced? Because the upper middle class prevents the construction of sufficient housing to meet demand, to protect their "quality of life" AKA their own property investments.

Why were the banks and auto companies bailed out? To protect the holders of existing assets, i.e. the upper middle class. (Nothing owned by the super rich was ever really in jeopardy.)

Whose pension and health care costs are bankrupting cities, and preventing them from providing services? The pensions and health care costs of retired bureaucrats, and OT-maxed former cops and firefighters, all of whom are now securely upper middle class.

Millennials were sacrificed to benefit baby boomers making $80 - $200k a year. Any additional benefits that accrued to the super-rich are a rounding error on what THE BIG CHILL type boomers stole.

>>
>>39239395
Jeez, it's not like you to give up... is something wrong?
>>
>>39239292
Capitalism is the system of private property and private exchange. Period.

An integral part of a system of private exchange is the right to negotiate terms and to NOT engage in any particular exchange if you choose.

On that basis, a person who owns their own property and goes all Unabomber and avoids all exchanges is...a capitalist.

The defining feature(s) of the other systems all boil down to either the absence of private property or the absence of a personal right to decide to engage in an exchange.

It's foundational, and it's tautological.

>BUT I'M SUPER INTERESTING AND HERMIT-LIKE SO I CAN'T BE A CAPITALIST

Tough shit, Mr. Special.
>>
>>39238798
Because capitalism is inherently filled with uncertainty and is filled with "us" vs "them." For capitalism to work it needs to be able to regulate itself to an extent. But this process creates friction between groups such as employers and employees. Both sides want inherently incompatible things. Employers want to pay as little as possible for the most work and employees want to be paid the most possible for the least work.

Problems arise because the two groups do not have equal power. Employers have vastly more power and as such get their way at the expense of the employees. So even fair arrangements that both groups would agree to dont happen and the arrangements are always slanted in the employers favor. This creates situations where Walmart made 17 billion dollars but Walmart employees received 3.2 billion dollars in government aid because of low wages. Logically that should not happen Walmart should have paid their employees enough wages so that they would not even be eligible for government aid.

This power imbalance also creates inherent uncertainty. When your boss has all the control you never know if your job is safe to work or that you will even have it the next day.

I'm fine with capitalism but what I do want is that the government creates a department of labor and does the hiring for companies. No more "job searching" you just give your qualifications and resume to the department of labor and they match you with a job that matches. The corporations have no say on the mater and can not directly fire you. They must petition the department and prove that you are not doing the job to spec or are simply unqualified. The department will also enforce a local minimum wage on all positions so that employees are always paid enough to live in the area and can be rapidly adjusted to match local inflation.

With that method jobs will always be filled by the most qualified. There is no more power brokering, ass kissing, or discrimination.
>>
>>39239266
>the human species needs to be drastically depopulated
Anon I was talking about realistic proposals. Nobody is going to volunteer for this, and the only ethical choice I can think of is to consider an endorsement of this depopulation as a nomination for a spot in the culling. Earth has the resources to support more than 14 billion humans, stop with this overpopulation sharp-edge bullshit.
>>
>>39239493
>This creates situations where Walmart made 17 billion dollars but Walmart employees received 3.2 billion dollars in government aid because of low wages. Logically that should not happen Walmart should have paid their employees enough wages so that they would not even be eligible for government aid.

That is completely the wrong interpretation of that statistic.

By providing certain government benefits, the state lowered the break-even point for the formation of certain small households.

Average household size in the US has dropped almost 25% since 1970.

A 1970 household that would have included a husband, a wife, and a retired parent now is split into two or three 2017 households.

People split into those smaller households because government benefit programs made it possible for them to afford to do so.

So now you have a single mom or an elderly person working at Wal-Mart and making a low enough income to earn public benefits, because they live by themselves in Section 8 housing and constitute their own household. In 1970 those two people would have been living together in one household, almost certainly along with a male wage earner - and the aggregate income of the household would have prevented the household from qualifying for public assistance.

(The public assistance qualification rules were themselves an incentive for these people to split into 3 households...but that's a topic for another day.)

>Capitalism is the system of private property and private exchange. Period.
I really don't care about your nonsense. When I go to the wild, you better believe no human will be allowed there ever again. In YOUR case, humans "own" property, then ruin the land. In MY case, I go to land to help the species you victimize. There are only two ways to do this currently: by purchasing land or by murdering humans.

>>39239502
>Anon I was talking about realistic proposals
Well in that case, REALISTICALLY, this will happen whether you like it or not. REALISTICALLY humans will always pick the lazy, wrong path, and REALISTICALLY that's why you're all going to go extinct.
>>
>>39239493
>This power imbalance also creates inherent uncertainty. When your boss has all the control you never know if your job is safe to work or that you will even have it the next day.

Nobody who sells to customers has any certainty or knows if their customers will come back the next day.

If employers should have to be forced to buy your labor tomorrow to alleviate your uncertainty, maybe the supermarket or coffee shop or fleshlight store or wherever should be allowed to force you to buy things on their schedule, too. That would relieve a lot of their uncertainty.
>>
>>39239629
>In MY case, I go to land to help the species you victimize.

Subsistence agriculture destroys the land just as surely as strip mining, dude.

Ever see a picture of those bare stone mountains all over Greece and the Aegean? They were once covered by trees. Subsistence farmers burned the trees for charcoal and then subsistence herdsmen let their goats chew on the meadows until there was nothing left but rock.

>When I go to the wild, you better believe no human will be allowed there ever again.

Congratulations, you just invented private property.

> In MY case, I go to land to help the species you victimize. There are only two ways to do this currently: by purchasing land or by murdering humans.

Ownership is the right to control the use or disposal of something.

If you pace off a section of land and then keep all other humans off it, you are asserting ownership. I don't care what kind of gay twee word you try to use for it instead. You OWN.
>>
>>39239725
this is a troll thread, the guy can't be as stupid as he's pretending to be
>>
>>39239598
Huh that's neat. But I dont see how that's relevant. Full time positions should be available for any employee that wants one and anyone that works full time should be paid enough to not qualify for government aid. Its as simple as that. Anyone actually working should not need government aid no mater where in the country they live.

>>39239639
That is absolutely not the uncertainty that I was talking about. I'm talking about a corporation closing a factory and opening a different one elsewhere because its cheaper for them and firing the workers. Or your boss simply not liking you and firing you because he doesn't want to deal with you. Being hired should be a contract stating that as long as the employee is willing to work and completes all tasks his position entails he will have a job. If a location is closed the corporation should be forced to offer him a similar or better job. If the job is far away the employer should be force to pay all costs to move the employee. People should only ever be fired for incompetence, refusal to do stated duties, illegal activity and lying during the application process.

>Why Do the Young Reject Capitalism?

Because

"Full Time" and "Part Time" no longer exists. Its all 32 hours or whatever is the maximum they can get away with to not give you benefits. 4 hour shifts are gone except when they need to you to fill a gap. It all 8 hour shifts and in some cases fucking horrendous 10 or 12 hour shifts.

They require "perfect availability." All but one job I have had has required perfect availability and flat told me I would be immediately fired if I got another job. Then they processed to regularly give me weeks where I only worked 8 hours. I've been fired from two jobs because I could not come in. In one I was out of state which my boss knew about but because I was not available to come in I was fired. The other one I was simply in a movie theater with my phone off. I wasn't available to pick up so when I went into work the next day I was immediately fired.

I can not work the amount of hours I want. I have bills and basic expenses but I have no control over how many hours of work I can preform and thus have no control over how much I make. If I am being given to many hours a week I can not ask for less. If I get to little hours I can ask for more but it is not up to me. The last place I worked the schedule was computer generated and my boss had to ability to change it outside of people calling in and he had paper work he had to fill out and file each time it happened.

There is no incentive to "work harder" My current job at family dollar due to feminist and other equality groups did away with their old raise system and instituted a flat raise once a year. Before if you were good and went above and beyond your manager could give a raise after a review. No that is no longer the case.

A few reason off the top of my head.

Where do I even go to learn more about these things? Your ideas are crack and I need to know more. Is there any maneuverability? Is it really a fucked system? Is it fearmongering or is our situation really that fucked?

With the coming democratization of robotics across industries such as self-driving cars we're only going to be more fucked too...goddamn. I've been holed up on my family's properrt in the middle of the woods for 2 years just trying to reconcile a rational direction and even though I've literally spent each and every day doing nothing but brainstorming by myself, this shit genuinely feels hopeless. There's really no quality life without stepping on people to get to it, fuck.

I'm praying that I'll wake up as Dr. Manhattan one of these days

What are your bullshit ass condemnations even accomplishing here? What fight are you trying to win? Are you gunning for upvoats or some shit? Do you know where you are?

Okay, fine. No, I didn't spent 700 days brainstorming. I spent 7 years brainstorming, researching, developing and executing on various theses I developed on the best ways to maximize my capability and effectiveness as a player in this game. I have a few months left before my responsibilities will inevitably remove me from my assumed hermitage and I'll come back on grid. I make progress every day. Their comments, however, struck a chord that I have a normie-tier understanding of. What if I'm not trying to prove to you, for your own well being, the state of mine? Especially when I, hell, both of us, stand to gain nothing? No I'm not trying to tell my life story every time I decide to post in a thread. No, I did not enter this thread seeking life advice from some anonymous shithead whose background is whatever he wants to claim is real. Quit masquerading as if you're anything but a fuckhead triggered troll that's operating on faulty logic. You're not a moral authority, you're not omniscient, and all you've managed is to derail this fucking thread. Good job. Autism - 1, Board culture - 0, again.
