has anyone here successfully found a job when you're 23 and have zero experience?
I'm in the same boat. College degree or no?

I got myself a sushi shop minimum wage job this summer since I'd be doing nothing useful either way and blank job experience upon graduation isn't nice. It's like a McDonald's for sushi in Canada and a good deal more expensive.
I'm 21, I got it by calling the manager directly.

2 things to know about college;
1. It's way overpriced in the US, huge bubble, could burst any time while you're getting into massive debt for a chance at that degree.
2. It's mandatory for a good job.

No, I've been neet since I was 17

bullshit. I know a guy that got a top job at google when he was 18 because he was charismatic
I got my first job at 28 with ZERO experience. Ugly fat manlet as well, apply at Starbucks, they hire everyone.

If you have no job experience at all then you're going to have a way harder time finding a job even with a degree.

the experience thing isn't the only factor...or else how could anyone ever get a job? some jobs mostly require clean background check, clean driving record, etc. etc. there really are just warm body jobs that need a warm body and require a certification or so (like security)

A few anons posted several months back about how they got data entry jobs with only high school diplomas and GEDs and it got me looking too. Soon as I started including my wpm typing rate in my resume and took the tests for recruiting companies I immediately got offers starting at $15/hr. I now have 3 months of experience under my belt and am entering into a yearlong contract where I'll get paid $25/hour to only take notes in meetings for 20 hours a week.
This truly is the most accessible route for most robots.

Unless this one guy you know is a statistically significant sample, I stand by my post.

Got my first job at a call center at age 25. College undergraduate.
I got a job at 36 with minimal experience. It's a shit job though. Thinking about it gives me a sick feeling in the stomach.
