I don't think there's anything on the foreskin itself, but it keeps the penis head wrapped and moist so it stays sensitive, as opposed to the head of a cut dick which becomes dried up as a result of not having a wrapper and being in contact with cloth all the time.

When I was a kid I used to have enough remanent foreskin to cover my head. Never had comfort issues, occasionally had some smegma but it wasn't gross or anything. But after I hit puberty my dick grew while my skin couldn't due to the scarring. Now my glans is dried out and it hurts to get erections.
