>be me
>20 years old
>been chubby ever since i can remember
>don't eat more than your average person
>don't binge eat
>don't stuff myself with junk food
>still chubby
>go to the gym 3-4 times a week for 6 months
>i am still fucking chubby
you bet your ass i am going to call genetics on this one
why do normies eat unhealthy shit all the time and don't even bother to exercise yet still stay skinny?
why should i eat nothing but fucking salads and nuts and berries for the rest of my life when almost noone else has to?
>>39200986
what are your average meals?
10 times out of 10 people that say bull shit like >I don't eat "that" much
>I go to the gym and am still chubby
>It has to be my genetics
Are liars your a fat lazy pig own up to it and I bet your gym days are you curling some 10 or doing some push up bullshit
>>39200986
you eat too much and don't move enough, sorry anon
>>39201008
i usually eat something like a ham or cheese sandwich or oatmeal in the morning, eat chicken with rice or potatoes/sometimes a homemade burger in the early afternoon
i don't eat anything after that
i drink mostly water and try to avoid sweets
>>39201089
If you're b8ing
P good
If you are serious: legit start counting calories
It works
t. Fat guy who's slightly less fat now
Calories in vs.
CALORIES
OUT
YOU AREN'T WORKING OUT ENOUGH REEEEEEEEEEEEE
>>39200986
I know the feeling, OP. No one believes me when I say I work out and eat well.
>>39201149
i wish i was baiting
and i will try that, thank you friend
if you take in less energy than you expend and still cant lose weight, where does the rest of the energy come from?
>>39200986
Believe me you need to start cal counting
I thought I was eating well too, until I ran the numbers and saw I was hitting 2.5k maintenance pretty much every day, and going over a lot too
Now I'm trying to do 1.5 for a cut. It's difficult, but I'm tangibly getting less chubby
>>39201220
You're welcome
Sometimes you dont even think about how much calories is in stuff. I was very surprised to find out a single slice of toast had above 100 calories.
>>39201089
eating burgers all the time will make you fat
news at 11
>>39201274
>>39201275
but can you guys tell me how do normies give zero shit about calories and exercise but are still in a seemingly good shape?
it just fucking baffles me to no end
>>39201390
i said i sometimes eat a homemade burger
some
fucking
times
where did i say i keep eating them all the time?
>>39201398
Normies are a lot more active day to day than most robots
Also theres likely some genetic components and they probably eat well whenever they aren't out with da boizzz
Also Google "leptin/leptin resistance". Once you get fat, you basically stay fat.

They either have really high metabolism or they automatically adjust. I.e. they eat too much one day so they naturally and without forcing themselves eat less the next day.
It's a mixture of genetics and correct upbringing.
We don't have that, so we gotta use our wits to do it.
>>39201458
>>39201433
that explains it
also
>it is a mixture of genetics and correct upbringing
this makes a lot of sense
my fat ass mom tried to starve herself to lose weight but ended up raiding the fridge like an animal every night
i didn't really have the best example growing up

rice, potatoes, oatmeal and bread are extremely calorie dense foods. They're called subsistence foods for a reason.
Two routes have worked for me: Either cut out carbohydrates almost entirely. (eggs for breakfast, chicken and green beans for lunch. fish/beef/chicken and broccoli for dinner) Or the 2nd route is basically starving yourself (1 tuna sandwhich per day.)
Starving yourself yields faster results but just cutting out carbs is more consistent and requires less willpower. Over a month both methods will probably cut about 15 pounds of fat.
>>39201089
>bread, oatmeal, rice, potatoes, more bread
all those carbs, man
>>39201688
if i don't eat carbs AT ALL i will always be hungry
been there, tried to do that
if i was sitting at home all day, it would work, i wouldn't mind it that much
but i am a wagie and i can't work when having hunger pains
>>39201784
Compromise: Only eat one type of carb once a day. And make it wheat bread or brown rice. Noone loses weight eating potatoes and oatmeal.
calories in
calories out
your calories in is greater than your calories out
your genetics will not bypass thermodynamics
>>39201784
Eat more fish, turkey, and chicken instead of ham and beef and eat more spinach/kale, which are very dense and won't take you forever to eat, unlike iceberg lettuce or celery. Just changing the order of the foods you eat (protein+vegetables -> carbs) may help.
Yes, your job is more important. Yes, rich people have it easier. Sorry to break it to you.
