My go to is wild. I lay perfectly still and essentially meditate until I can feel sleep paralysis set in. Then the dream forms around me and I just sort of get up and start walking about. It was tough for me to get into because of the shit I see in sleep paralysis but if you face your fears they ironically disappear completely

If you see bad shit during some sleep paralysis hold your breath. It's the one thing you can really still do and will wake up your body again. Works when a dream goes south on you too.

I've been trying to lucid dream for years. I went from not remembering my dreams at all when I was young, to remembering multiple dreams every time I sleep once I started trying to lucid dream, and now I finally caved into the nonstop advice of using a dream journal which hasn't made me more conscious during a dream but made my dreams much more duller like day to day kind of shit and harder to remember so I usually only get one at a time maybe two if I'm lucky.

Whenever I die in a dream, I usually just wake up. Sometimes I'll shift over into another dream. So I just started to assume that if a dream ends abruptly, something killed me that I didn't notice was coming.
