This

In fact, my experience has always been straight out of Idiocracy.

>He's always reading a book, he must be some kind of fag
>Anon why don't you do normal stuff like a normal guy?
>>
>>39119747
There's nothing magical about reading out of a book vs off a screen you attention whore nigger, you aren't a smartie ok
>>
>>39119901
When I was in high school and college Kindles and smart phones weren't things yet.

Different mediums. It's the same as playing a game vs. watching a film. Much of the joy of reading over other mediums is the quality of the prose itself. You can also utilize your imagination to envision places, people, and events, rather than having it fed to you by someone else's vision. This gives personal agency to the story experience.

Obviously if you're reading a shit-tier book than yea, might as well just watch the movie.

It also allows for a better description. Let's say an elderly character has a raspy voice. He might be a former military commander used to frequently shouting orders. Or he might had a lot of quarrels with his wife. Or he might be just plain old. Each one of these discriptions is an entirely different character. It is easy to reflect such characteristiv in a book, but not in, say, movie where there are very strict time limitations.

My oneitis sometimes wears a Great Gatsby t-shirt, and /lit/ would make fun of her for being a pleb and not starting with the Greeks, but I'm not very well read either, so I don't care. I should talk to her about how much I love The Great Gatsby sometime. Maybe recommend she read my other favorite, Slaughterhouse-Five.

Oh wow some bitch wrote a good book, great accomplishment in literature for women. For every decent book a roastie has written throughout history there's been about 10,000 other great ones by men.

From my experience woman inviting a man inside her home after date entails a faint promise of sexual intimacy / possibility of sexual intimacy as well
Oh normies, everything has to be so subtle to you so you don't have to utter your own primal actions to the public
>"Would you like to come inside, i have new *insert excuse here* id like you to try"
>"I enjoyed the date, now i am sufficiently aroused by you to invite you into my home and woo you into bed"
>"Would you like to have some coffee?"
>"You seem like an interesting person, i would like to talk to you to find out more about you, if our interest align we may make future appointments together"
>"Can i have your number?"
>"I wish to keep in contact with you and possibly harbor sexual attraction towards you, refusal to comply would send a strong message of you disproving my attraction"
>"Perhaps another time"
>"I do not wish to waste my time with you, but i also do not wish to make you my enemy, therefore i give you vague promise of future encounter that will most likely never occur"
>"Would you like to come over to my place and watch a movie?"
>"I would like to invite you to my home ground where i will feel more comfortable flirting with you and where we have intimacy to perform sexual actions should my attempts be successful, also there will be some movie playing on the background"

I think they are being so vague so they can back pedal if they see a red flag / change their mind
>"I only agreed for a coffee, what gave you the idea i would be interested in you?"

There should be normie / robot / normie dictionary, would help socially retarded people decipher the nuances of normie interaction
>>
god she looks so much like my one ex gf from a few years ago, when i wasnt completely broken and participated in society. im sad now
