But unless I accidentally impregnate my wife and wake up feeling really guilty about spawning a child, I just don't see the ultimate purpose.

I'll be dead in a maximum of 40 years and whether the world goes to shit or not after that won't particularly be my problem.

Simply - White Nationalism and Climate Change are two things that only matter to people who really care about their offspring, and I'm not sure having offspring is a good idea to begin with.
