well...im not to good at long projects like that. it came out great, and good job for doing that, but most of my projects are usually 40 minutes to 3 hours. i get most of my inspiration from shows i watch, and you need to take breaks in between to make sure not to get bored of doing the drawing, which can make the whole thing suck a lot more to finish.

I see, it's because it've always wanted to draw a smut comic between Sucy and Akko from LWA, but the size of the project means that I never got to start it and even if I did, I probably won't finish it. I even promised some anons on /a/ that I'd complete it in 2 weeks, which is absolutely foolishly over self-estimating and cruel.

This is my last semi-serious drawing, I spent much less than 8 hours, which is good, it's drawn earlier this year, which is bad. I've always been inconsistent with drawing, they are far in between, but lately it's as if I've lost all passion in it and life in general.

i couldnt say this s good advice, but i say look up sites that allow you to look at an image of someone, and draw it under whenever time you want, id say 5-ish is good, and do that for a while.i do that sometimes for anatomy pose ideas, and its good help to learn to draw things quicker.

can some art fags give me advice? I have this project I've been making small amounts of work on, basically a glorified animatic. Essentially a video of drawings in comic book style but maybe with speech or storytelling and music in background. But my current method (drawing on index cards, inking, scanning, then maybe contrasting and coloring) is pretty slow. I need to be able to pump the frames out pretty fast. So I am thinking I need to do this on the computer. I know I suck at drawing but still. Now in the past I did make over 500 frames for a 30 minute video summarising my story in mspaint but those were absolute trash. The biggest obstacle was drawing with the mouse. So I am thinking of getting a cheap USB drawing pad. If any drawanons could give advice, recommendations, how it compares to pen and paper, or to touchscreen drawing tablets, that would be great.
