I went to the doctor about my depression. All they did was give me a number to call, at least I have that now I suppose. When I came into the room, 35m late (they delayed it) the doctor was a woman who I think was Eastern European, not attractive, first thing I see is her yawning. I swear she had a lazy eye or she was a bit slow as she couldn't keep eye contact. Was like I was talking to a mong.

So I tell her about my depression, she just asks me mundane questions and nods along. The important part is she obviously has to ask if I'm suicidal, I say yes. She panics and says "I mean you're making plans and stuff." When she puts it that way I say "no it's not that bad" and she says "good good." Then she gave me that number for some company that does work there called Oasis and rushes me out of the room saying "any more questions?"

I mean it wasn't the worst experience but... this is the first time I told anyone about my depression and they didn't give a shit. I know it's not their job but that didn't fucking help. The whole experience cemented my views on privatizing the NHS. Every experience I've had with them is utter shit.
