This is genuinely fucking awful anon, what the fuck is it supposed to represent? It's literally nothing, just a bunch of colours thrown together. The only redeeming factor is if it were aesthetically pleasing, which is subjective.

Hi OP, there is nothing wrong with what you are doing. The color depicts that you're sad, maybe a little angry. The shape reflects hopelessness in searching for meaning.

As for your question, I don't (consciously) paint certain songs. Although, I do usually listen to music when I paint, so they may be influenced by that.

I am the worst artist of anyone I know and I could still flick shit onto a canvas.

Art isn't about copying a real life object, but being able to copy with photorealism is a basic foundational skill that you need to know before you can make works of proper aesthetic beauty and expression. Joinery may not be about making mortice joints, but you can't make a beautiful piece of furniture without one.
