When I was young she told me when I misbehaved or got bad grades in school I released negative forces or something which caused bad things to happen in the world, so whenever something bad happened in the news (natural disasters, murders, terrorist attacks) she said I did it because I didn't do my chores or I got suspended from school or I just wasn't nice enough to her that day. I used to think it was just some bullshit she made up to make me behave, and for the most part it worked fine. I constantly tried to be nice to her and stay out of trouble, but she still does this with me now that I'm 24. I think she's genuinely insane, but she's not hurting anyone so I really can't do anything about it. It still fucks with me though, even though I know it doesn't make sense.
