I don't get it. You don't get to choose between those two, you have to pay both you rent and food, americans don't get a free pass to just pay one expense.

The most rage-inducing thing about this picture is the fact that it implies there is ANYONE working in fast food in Western/Northern Europe who is white.
>>

Do you happen to have any employment statistics from denmark? Is bk actively hiring over there? What are the maximum working hours per week?
>>
>>38897469
no I don't know any of that
>>
>>38897492
Have you considered the possibility that due to being forced to pay such benefits by the government, they actually hire much less workers than they would othertwise?
>>
>>38897398
Welp. Guess I'll move to Denmark to work at fucking Burger King.
>>
>>38897523
no I haven't. I would assume that they already employ the minimum amount of workers required, that's just extreme basic logic.
>>
>>38897525
that's what I am trying to do. Basically, except the denmark or burger king parts.

you guys are all losers anyway why not just go where jobs are plentiful easy and good
>>
>>38897398
whats rent like in denmark?

"I am for doing good to the poor, but...I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it.
I observed...that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer.
And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer."

So-called "social democracy" eg Denmark is merely a stepping stone to full Marxism.

First they take over academia and the media with cultural Marxism. Then they push to institute "just a little bit of socialism", such as nationalisation of industries, wage control and regulation. Then they ask for more, and more, until all is under state control and all is heavily taxed.

Back to /r/politics. We can all see your poor attempt at invading this board.

What it fails to talk at all about is how Denmark has like 60% income tax and a stupidly high sales tax (like 25%)
>>
>>38897542
No, that's just not how any of this works. As the amount of emploiees goes up, the price must also in order to remain profitable, unless the increase in employies brings in more revenue than it costs to pay them. The rise in price causes people to order less food, which in turn lowers the need for employees to make food. the reverse process applies for a decrease in the amount hired.

In this way, the amount of people hired to work at any place is totally dependand on the demand, which is partially dependant on the price, and in this way the amount of people hired will decrease the more you have to pay them.

hope this helps a bit.

I was shilling for Ben Franklin because his observation is right, except the world has changed so drastically that the whole bootstraps thing doesn't hold up.
He was talking about a country where less than 10m people had an entire continent ahead of them, free to subject and create all the wealth they wanted.
You know his world doesn't exist anymore.

Denmark is capitalist.
The reason for all the prosperity in Denmark and similar countries the capitalism in the private sector. The fact that there's a pretty big public sector doesn't mean that it's not driven by capitalism.
The Nordics and such actually have pretty free markets.
>>
>>38897706
I don't thing cutthroat corporatocracy works quite as well in a country that has merely five million people as it does in US.
>>
Both will be replaced by machines soon I hope.
>>
American policies in the business sector are creating a nation that resents and hates each other.
socially, America has to be one of the worst countries to live in.
you get to watch your co-workers who work less and everyone knows it, get paid more and take vacations.

people who don't do anything get paid shit tons of money. not sure how you couldn't resent that unless you too wanted to be a piece of overpaid shit.
>>
>>38897706
The Nordics don't even have a minimum wage unlike USA.
>>

>>"Freedom doesn't work so I guess we better institute communism now!"
At no point did I say anything like this. I really wish we would settle another planet soon because otherwise we will never experience that same surge of pioneering and bootstrapping that only a fresh discovery can bring.

This especially Norway. The only bog differences that people argue for it not being translatable to the USA is their low population. The basic ideology in socialist capitalism is private sectors are important but the government knows best how to regulate it. Also the government knows better than the citizens how to spend their money. While in contrast the USA is all about muh liberty

What isn't there to get?

Nordic countries are mostly racially homogeneous, small population, and have a welfare system that requires everybody to pay into it. Of course their version of "socialism" or whatever you guys want to call it works. You can't have that in the US because of the sheer size of the country, regional differences, and the fact we have a lot of freeloaders (illegals, hood niggers, white trash, take your pick).
>>
>>38897706

They get $20 an hour because the cost of living in the EU is so fucking high. Overall they come away with less money once they've paid rent, brought food and paid their white guilt tax. The problem is that many people do not have money that they can spend. If everyone had money so that they can support themselves then obviously a minimal state where you can decide most of your spending would be better.

what alot of people that spam this picture on fb walls (while still continuing to work in the same situation nonetheless)dont underatand is that denmark and other socialism-lite nord countries, are way smaller, and don't have millions upon millions of people actively contributing to make the country worse.
regardless of race, when do you hear about rampant gang violence in denmark? neighborhood destroying drug dealing?
domestic terrorism?
in the few instances where those things happen it's in a bubble.
do people really think that with all the welfare queens, tax evading scum, and overall leeches on the country that we have in the U.S., we'd be able to do the things denmark and norway do?
>>
>>38899222
Try and compare living standards for the "poor" in Denmark vs the poor in America then. Compared to the US, Denmark is way better for the working class - so it's not a shit hole for them at least.

Now, I don't know which system is best or worst. The danish economy is build up around the phrase "the biggest shoulders carry the heaviest weight", which is borderline socialist, while people in the US are their own lucks smith.
>>
>>38899222
>Denmark: drinking tap water is perfectly healthy
>USA: can't drink tap water, because it is literally poisoned.

Minimum wage is a joke. If you don't like the pay, find something else to do. Young people are so fucking entitled today.
>>
>>38899344

>>
>>38899263

>>
>>38899374

It's almost completely socialist. But every now and then that turns out to not be such a bad thing.
>>
>>38899398
Sorry, its a danish saying that I translated. I am fully aware that my english isn't the best. I hope you got the point anyways.
>>
Ive compared salaries, taxes and prices of food / other things here in scandinavia and america.
The high tax and higher prices makes it even. Ofcourse it looks unfair when you just instantly convert the wages into dollars.
Plus i honestly want them to lower wages here because then the companies wouldnt make you need a burger flipper license with 3 year experience to wash dishes part time. Too much competition
>>
>>38899446
>go out to look for a job in America
>get attacked and eaten by a crazy homeless nig
>>
>>38899454
Yet the market is free, the state is pretty small and people are free. The only socialist thing about our system is the high taxes, that goes to welfare.
>>
>>38899344
Are these even especially common in USA? In Finland there have been for example 2 school shootings, 1 bomb detonation by a non-Muslim person in a mall, 3 serial killers on rampage on so on. That's about equal to 110 school shootings and 170 serial killers in U.S.
>>
>>38899457
I know it's a danish saying, because I am danish. In english you would say something like "make your own luck" .
>>
>>38899431
im not sure what you mean by good people anon.
do you mean more wealthy?
it's not sustainable when not only are the top 1% not doing their part to help out, but people are incentivized to just pop out 6 kids and live off the welfare and other programs.
the combination of these two things makes having more good people pointless in the end.
>>
>>38899569
> people are incentivized to just pop out 6 kids

But in practice no one (among whites) pops out 6 kids to get more welfare. You can see it by comparing the birth rates of Scandinavians and white Americans.
>>
>>38899402

terrorist attacks haven't really been that prevalent these past few years. and i can't remember the last time a school shooting made the news.
but gangs and drug dealing is very common if you live anywhere near a major city/urban area, yes. the last domestic terrorism i remember was last year when a black dude shot gunned down cops in dallas.
>>
>>38899637
yeah, i more so meant minorities anon.
>>
>>38899569
I mean the middle class. The hardworking people, that are taking care of their families while paying taxes. What do you mean by the top 1% isn't doing their part? Are you referring to the loss of jobs, because the major companies owned by the 1% have moved their productions overseas, and therefore betrayed the former middle class who depended on those jobs in order to survive?
>>
>>38899689
What are the black guy vs nignog ratio in america? How many savages are there for 1 black man?
>>
>>38899669

>>
>>38899379

tax evasions, bailouts, government turning a blind eye to the countless shady business practices, not investing back into the economy in any way. abundance of outsourcing, etc.
all just crony capitalism symptoms really.

>>38899781
it's very hard to say.
inner cities have been fucked up forever because of a small percentage of them, so i'll let you decide.

>>38899870

>>

55% is only partial and only targetted at a income above a certain size.
