It is, but that's only if you have a plan and are actively working towards your goals everyday. If you stop even for a second, someone else will take your place.

If you have a strong will though, you can bend the world to your whims, no joke. Not to the extent that you would think, it's not like you have superpowers, but it's a noticeable change. Extroversion helps quite a bit.
