Realistically, mids should be just a few dollars. Cannabis is an herb, not some kind of magical thing that's so hard to create.

99.9% of the difficulty growing it is due to legal restrictions or prohibition (even in legal states you can't just grow it like a regular plant; you're expected to hide it and if you rent, most landlords won't allow it).

The system is great for cannabis sellers because people will keep buying it even though it's overpriced. Great for the pharmaceutical industry too because the price of pot is bizarrely high compared to most psychiatric drugs which are made in third-world, barely regulated factories.
