My parents are really worried about me but I'm too afraid to go and get an evaluation on my mental state.

I'm quite self aware of my situation in the sense that I recognise there's a problem but how I ended up like this is likely due to a variety of different reasons spanning what has been my life so far.

I'm basically about as much of a failure one can be as a young adult. Its embarrassing.
