If you haven't seen mrbtongue's stuff I think he does a good job of making it interesting to someone who isn't necessarily into vidya. yms, mde, and crowbcat are pretty good too. The best comfy youtube is rewatching pre-starcade jontron though

StrafeFox (good short documentaries, and he recently released some new videos which are good)
JimmyHapa (import games)

When I checked sub numbers of other classic gaming channels im subscribed to, a lot of them have grown, a lot. So I avoided recommending them.
