Im not a delivery driver because I couldnt find a job in my hometown that was hiring so I became an OTR truck driver since there are tons of jobs for that.
Its not a great lifestyle I tell you, but its better than every single job ive ever had in the past, hands down.

All jobs require some level of interaction with people. With truck driving you don't have to deal with idiot normies and their highschool level politics in the work place or even have to speak to another human being days at a time.

It is alot. Depends on your experience, and company. There has been a bubble these last few years and truckers aren't making as much money as they used to, but that doesn't mean there still isn't opportunity to make decent cash. If you are a first year trucker, chances are you are going to be making atleast 600-700$ after taxes every week. IF you are getting enough miles from your company. Not a lot of money from my point of view, but its quite a lot if you are single with no kids and live a moderate lifestyle.

I sleep in my truck and shower at trucker stops like Love's. The trucker lifestyle isn't for everyone, but if you can bear it then it beats being some fast food worker or retail jockey.
