For instance, I cry watching most movies.

This morning I cried by looking at the weather app on my ipad.
It was very early (5pm) and it had a starry sky moving background with a mountain.

It evoked memories, and feelings of magical moments I'll never get to experience, couple with a gut wrenching subconscious awareness of my/our own insignificance

How are you not instantly pushed out of the experience when in the final episode everyone is reduced to sobbing babies?
I really disliked that finale, especially considering the previous episode delivered the same if not more of an emotional punch with actual subtlety (and thus believability).

The end of Halo 4 made me cry a little, I don't think anything I've watched has ever really made me break down

That black mirror episode where the ghetto girl becomes a midget and her dad only finds out about it while he's jerking off to midget porn.
It made me anxious af, after he finds out he starts thinking about the past and basically it's just a huge flashback until the last scene, where he finally comes all over his iPad.
It struck me so deep cause it's the most realistic representation of a father-daughter relationship I've seen in a long time.

The Hunt was a great movie but holy shit did it give me knots in my stomach. You can really feel the hopelessness and dejection the main character is feeling as his community turns on him. I like to think it made me a slightly more compassionate person.

My English teacher recommended we read Catcher in the Rye when I was 17, picked it up and read it in a few hours, it really was a significant moment for me. Besides that, Shakespearean tragedies are what lead me to start thinking more philosophically about mankind.
