I actually tried getting /fit/ a while ago and lost a lot of fat and am reasonably strong, but it's the mental strength I don't know how to exercise.

It'd also help to get some interests and activities in your life you can get some self-esteem or w/e. If you have other things that matter in your life, someone shit-talking you doesn't matter as much. Conversely, a person who doesn't have much going on is going to get way more upset when people make fun of them.

I live with my parents and we get along well. I think life's gotten a lot better after my step-father moved out because he was someone who loved to banter and knew I couldn't handle it.

I don't really have any interests. It's hard for me to be interesting in things. I just get bored. I like music I guess, but that doesn't really count as a real hobby.

There's plenty of stuff you can get into; don't even worry if you don't like it at first. Most all hobbies are thousands of hours of drudgery and disciplined practice anyhow before the fully rewarding parts, so it's not a bad sign if you feel bored/burned out from it.
