Say for example, a smart guy who's a molecular biologist. This is my first time on /r9k/. I have no idea what I expected - but it wasn't this.

Speaking as someone with an actual autism diagnosis, this kind of thinking was how I coped with being socially retarded back when I was 14 or so. Thankfully, I managed to get a bit more competent at social stuff and now only sometimes sperg the fuck out - usually about guns nowadays.
