>he thinks if he wasn't fat he'd be confident and/or happy
HAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHHA
>he thinks being /fit/ will give him confidence and happiness
>he thinks getting a job will grant him a gf
We could go on forever
>he thinks that if he were confident he will get a gf
>he thinks that people are just shy of talking to him
What a wonderful day to want to die.

Losing weight definitely helps your confidence, as does taking care of your appearance. Not to mention that you just feel better when you're a healthy weight.

Losing the weight doesn't help, I thought the same thing and after all that work to lose it and become good looking I still never leave my house and hate everything

If I don't mind the big disappointment in my pants it would make me 100% feel better.
>be fat
>have no confidence, try for years to lose weight
>eventually succeed, confidence still zero
>work new job, buy apartment, become fatter than i was originally
>confidence skyrockets
idk probably its different for different people, but independence solved most of my self-esteem problems. id like to be fit but i very rarely think about it (getting old and giving up might also play a part)
>he thought he could overcome his genetic deformities on fat distribution by lifting

It's not gonna automatically make you happy, but: when you're happy and see how fat you are, you get sad. When you're happy and don't have to see that, you stay happy. Similar things apply with social interactions. When you're not socializing you won't notice the big deal, but when you are you won't suffer the consequences of other people's prejudices against fatness.
but op im confident and happy while im 6 foot 200 lbs because i see everyone besides me as an NPC
If you're fat, no one will respect you.

But I'm skelly. To be honest if it were as easy to become confident as it is for a fat person to lose weight I'd be super confident.
