I know you don't want to hear the "smoking kills" shit so I'll cut right to the chase. I've smoked about 100 cigarettes approximately or about 5 packs until I got bored of it. I tried out a couple brands and to be honest the best menthols I tried were Camel Crush menthol (green box), Marlboro smooth (however the extremely minty flavor was blown out of proportion by over exaggeration on youtube however was pretty decent), eagle 100s (green box) and Pall Mall menthol (green box) these are all ones that I've tried. My favorite was pall mall menthol and camel crush menthol. Pall mall lasts the longest. You should also look into american spirits (never tried the menthols but there is a light one and strong one and they're kinda expensive

Anyways, I figure the light ones don't do much damage since they don't get you as dizzy.
