Yes. My friend went to college and I was a NEET. All he managed to do was have sex, get high, rack up debt, and work a few low tier jobs. By the end of it his gf kicked him out of their apartment and he ended up watching anime in my basement like the old days and was a NEET for several months.

But I think the real problem is that a lot of people don't go to college with a clear career goal in mind, they major in business or some liberal arts shit or take on a stem degree that they can't handle.
