>normies exist

fucking pisses me. Like why do they feel so compelled to live and produce more living beings?

It's as if they're not even sentient, they act purely on instinct, like animals.
>>

One thing that I've noticed is, us robots are more or less aware of the concept of nihilism, maybe even had the depression phase, but normies in general are not even aware of the existence of the idea

You should try it. It turned me into someone I didn't know I could be. I long to go back travelling far away from the faces I see everyday

Notice how I distinguish between travelling and "travelling". You can go travelling without plastering it all over social media.

Don't worry, I'm sure you're one of the good ones that does what they want without having to tell everyone you're a free-spirited traveler or some hippy shit

>>38708099
Yes. Those people give people like me a bad name. I don't make a big deal about it. I barely take any photos at all. Most of the time I travelled, when I was younger, was to meet foreign families. And to this day I like travelling. Immersing yourself in something foreign. It's not only about 'discovering new things'.

For me, travelling is about living. And it's hard to explain if you dont do it yourself. When you're in a foreign country, with foreigners, you are ALLOWED to be your awkward self. You're allowed to make mistakes - they'll just blame it on the fact that you're not from here. When I'm in a foreign country it frees me of the guilt that I feel for my autism in my native country.

>post on /r9k/

>normie because that's what everybody does

This normie bullshit is pushed to excessive lenghts and heights. I travel and I have a buzzcut. But fuck off before you deem me a normie, because what determine the difference between THEM and US is what we LACK inside and what they HAVE. Everything else is bullshit. Because we don't have love. We don't have hope. We aren't happy. We can't be because of so many things. That's what make us robots
>>
>>38708225
Fucking thank you, it's people like you that make me want to travel. Not miscellaneous Stacey that posts on Facebook "teehee in Bangkok, going to stroke a drugged up tiger then go to the beach and get date raped xD".

For me, autism is one of the things holding me back. As much as I like immersing myself in a new place and everything, I feel like my autism comes on stronger too. I get the point about being able to be yourself a bit more, but I also feel like my real self wouldn't be able to deal with these situations. I'm enough of a spastic in my own country, so with the language and culture barrier added in I know I'll look like a right freak.
>>
>drink coffee

the absolute worst of them all
>>
>>38708382
But there's a difference between autistically liking anime and trendily liking anime.
>>

You shouldn't watch tv or movies at all you fucking normie. The fact that you're judging other normies for watching marginally normie-er normshit is laughable. Go to /b/.
>>
>>38708397
Sitting in front of tv watching game, drinking beer, shouting Woo! at various things, criticising officiating decisions etc is the same as actually playing on the team, clearly.
>>
>>38708477
But i drink coffee too
I dont have a job or anything but my parents drink coffee so i developed a taste. I drink coffee with lots of sugar and milk as a dessert
How can edibles be normie exclusive?
>>
>>38708477
Holy shit this.

Drinking coffee is the ultimate normie practice.
>>
>>38708457
>with the language and culture barrier added in I know I'll look like a right freak.
Trust me. Invest time learning the language (was easier for me, because I mostly went to America, and I was taught english from a young age). Learn a little about the culture. And go (or ask family if they know people there). I don't know how you'd do, but for me, it was liberating. I could talk with people and go out, literally have fun and have a genuine smile on my face. Not only do you forget about whatever shit's going on back home, but you are allowed to make mistakes. They'll laugh it off, and in a genuine way. I did stuff in the US that would have made me terribly awkward in Europe but I got away with it because I was a foreigner. Just get it that you're foreign. And people, knowing that, will try to help you and will tolerate whatever thing you can't do. Can't find a word or stitch meaningful sentences together? Stutter? They won't care because they know it's not your native tongue (even if you do hose things back home). Can't stare at them in the eye, or looking worn-off? They'll say it's because you're new to the country orbecause the ride has worned you off. As I said it's smething you need to experience to believe.

Genuinely do not understand the appeal of that show. I watched the first few episodes and had to stop. From what I've seen over the years, the show has gotten a million times more insufferable. How do normies do it?
>>
Normie just means "someone who isn't as deep in as me" now. It sounds disgusting to say anyways
>>
>>38708794
>>38707523
>Game of Thrones
Normies are a lot less exposed to RPGs/medieval worlds/medieval fantasies as compared to us, hence they are reeled into it.
We on the other hand have played enough video games, and been exposed to enough media with similar settings to be saturated, while it is all new to them
>>
>>38708883
Never been into medieval stuff and yet GoT has zero appeal to me. I'm entirely into post-WW2 shows and cinema.

A "normies" is your average joe. He has an average job, average social skills, average sex life, average relationships, average friends, average hobbies, average income. Everything is average and normal about them, they are the people you'd find in a bar at a friday night, or find watching movies or engaging in casual hookups

Every trait about them, can be traced to another one of them, they have little to no unique traits

That, is a normie
>>
>>38708931
Oh sorry that might be an exclusively British term. It's like the Top 40 or whatever of popular new songs that play on the radio over and over, until the normies find some new trash artist or song to gush over
>>
>>38708968
A normie is also loved. Or at least knows love. And is hopeful or good-looking (or unaware and unwoke)
>>
>>38708931
Anything on the top 100 charts. The really popular music, usually pop, rap, or country. The stuff on the radio that gets played and overplayed. Takes zero effort to find because it's everywhere, requires zero taste to enjoy because it's the musical equivalent of mac n cheese
>>
>>38708968
I know what it was originally supposed to mean, but the people you consider as normies have taken the word and twisted it to mean "person who isn't in as deep" for a hobby/culture
>>
>>38707523

I watched the first two seasons but stopped when show started to diverge from the books. The most recent book wasn't very good either though. I dunno what George Martin is trying to do anymore.
>>
>>38709392
people say it like that because we have a much wider understanding of how a computer works than a brain
>>

Yeah, first couple of seasons and books were good, then it all fell off a cliff.
If anything the show should have diverged more.

Still watching S7 just to be done with it and I have nothing better to do anyway.
