Why don't y'all learn how to improvise? It's a pretty cool way to get ideas for a written composition.

Have you tried working at different times of the day? I've noticed my better ideas only come out at night, usually after 10pm. It's a fucking wreck to schedule if you ask me but sometimes that's just the way your mind wants to work.

Only thing that keeps me going in rapping and beat making is that i get a little better every year. Nowhere near commercial success levels but the beats i can make and lyrics i can write now are much better than back when i started in like 2010.
