when did you stop following religion and disobey your parents? (wish I did it sooner)
>caring about your parent's religious views
>not just not following religion because it's only a meme

Like a couple years after high school. I still prayed and stuff but I didn't take God into consideration in a lot of my choices like I used to. Then my dad got sick and things got extremely shitty and then I just completely stopped. It just seems unlikely to me that a God exists. So much pain and suffering in the world. Then I see people that live great lives and have never gone through bad times praise God when other people that work so hard have it taken away in a flash.

My parents are hindu
They aren't even that religious even if they pretend to be sometimes
my parents were christians and we went to church every sunday. funny thing is we never did anything christian other than going to church and i never paid attend to it. I think I was 12 when I fully understood the concept of God and jesus but i that it was retarddd. so I was always an atheist

>when did you stop following religion
i did during my commie phase in middle school, but came back to it when i went hard right in high school.
>disobey your parents
My parents are agnostic liberal hippies who smoked pot and partied their way through college until I came along by accident. I only really got rebellious when I said I wanted to join the military, as strange as it sounds.
I stopped being religious around the age of 9 or so. I don't really remember since it wasn't quite a defining moment of my life
