While self hatred is a good motivator, it's kind of a double edged sword. Who's to say you won't still hate yourself when you finally get to be skinny? A healthier mindset would be one of self improvement (I want to lose weight to better myself) vs self hatred (I want to lose weight because I hate how I look). Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference, but it's there and I hope you can find a good balance. For a lot of people losing weight AT ALL is better than nothing, no matter the cost so hey, what do I know?

Sadly, most of the patrons are over 40 and slim, so the actual amount of chubby ladies that walk in is really low! The old ladies think I'm cute though, so I get nice tips at least. The sad thing is we serve LOTS of food, it'd be fucking awesome to see a belly gf chow down but they never come in!

I won't deny it, sometimes they hit a sweet spot. There's only one time I really remember, the restaurant I work at has a really busy bar attached to it and all kinds of weirdos wander in there, very eclectic and colorful crowd. One time, this HUGE ssbbw lady, must have been late 40s, early 50s comes waddling in. She was VERY bottom heavy, definitely a pear but still fat all over. When she sat down on the bar stool, I swear to god her ass cheeks were enveloping the sides. She probably need to sit on three to be comfortable. I didn't say anything because she was obviously well over twice my age and I'm a huge autist, but man it was fun gaping at her.
