They constantly shit test and try to manipulate you or provoke you to see how you will react. It's like being around a sociopath.

I'm too self conscious to ever believe that another human could appreciate my existence. I've even had GF for like over two years, never once did I trust her or feel like she really liked me. In the back of my mind it always felt like I was being used for whatever, attention or free dinners I guess. Probably not the sex since I'm pathetic.

All I can say is it's incredible how fast they can move on. Back in the day when there was no word for what autism was, I had a few come after me.
Being autistic and weird I didn't know what to do and just froze.
By the time I'd figured it out and decided I could handle this they were over it.

I don't get it. There are girls I crushed on from jr high that I would still to this day sacrifice a lot for a chance with. But they can go from interested to cold indifference in a couple weeks.

It's not even examples really it's a constant stream it's relentless.
If they are around other women they'll constantly gossip about you and then stop talking and laugh when you walk in.
They'll constantly invent reasons to touch you but it's not sexy like you think it's just annoying and creepy.
They will try to play mind games and if you don't play along they get mad but the think about them getting mad is it just makes them play even more.
And it gets worse and worse

That feeling is foreign to me too OP. This board has gone to shit with the normalfag infestation. I had NEVER had the feeling of someone who likes me in my life. I get reminded by it everyday in all forms of media. It got to a point where I leave the room if people start to kiss or show any form of intimacy.
