I get no pleasure from doing social activities with other people and I have no idea why. When I was at university, I used to tag along to things on occasion with my housemates (like go to a club or something a couple of times a semester), but I never got anything out of it. Even if "everything went alright", I always hated the experience of going outside and doing stuff.

I'm 25 now, and haven't had any friends for years, and thought I might feel a bit differently now that the loneliness is starting to eat away at me. I took what was for me a big leap recently and tried pushing myself out of my comfort zone by meeting up with an online friend, just to chill out for a day and dick around doing various things, but it's even worse now. Not only did it give me no pleasure, but I just hated it. In the days leading up to it, I just felt anxious and scared. When we were out, I couldn't relax and constantly felt on edge, and just wanted to go home. I enjoy talking to this person online, but doing anything in person with another human being is not fun, and the tiniest bit of socialising leaves me feeling exhausted.

I don't like what the future holds, lads.
