In other news, I took my cousin out dancing. It was a lot of fun honestly, but I think I lost her interest if I ever held it. So L took the news well, to begin with, and was genuinely excited about where we're going. She couldn't really help but go on about all the things we'd do and all the new places we'd see over dinner. It wasn't really until after we had finished supper and we were laying on the couch together that things took a bit of a turn.

She looks up at me, she was sorta half laying on me, and says 'I'm gonna miss being here' then starts crying. I just sort of held her since there wasn't a whole lot I could say.
After a while she started talking about all the things and people that she'd miss. L carried on teary eyed like that for a while, then she apologized for being selfish and leaning on me for emotional support again despite the whole thing being just as hard for me.In response I blew a raspberry into her arm and called her a 'stupid girl'.

After that I just told L that we're there to support each other and that I'll be relying on her just as much as she'll be relying on me in the coming months. Hell, L just being around keeps me sane. Does break my heart to see her so torn up though.

She seemed to lighten up as the night went on, which was good to see. L's been a bit quiet and clingy since yesterday, but I can see her going back to her old self in a few days.
