the only fighting game i ever got good at was mortal kombat 9, mostly because my friends were playing it and we'd do tournaments. i learned a bit about frame data and how fighting players think. it gets pretty complicated. mk9 mostly sucked anyway, everyone ended up just spamming bullshit with fucking kabal and using his ridiculous advantages.
