I've been a neet for 6 years and only ever talked to my parents/brother. And I could probably hold a conversation in english if I lived in the US.

It's gotten so bad that when people speak to me, I look behind me because I assume they are talking to someone else. I end conversations quickly because whenever I do more than answer questions, they just walk away or say nothing. I thought I was just paranoid, but proved myself right when a coworker was talking to me and in the middle of my response I said "there's a spider on your face" as though it was a completely normal part of the sentence, and they replied to me without even referencing it.

Yep. I have poor social skills and lexicon is awful. But I compensate this with lots of dedication on anything else and able to do the same task over a million times before feeling bored of it.
