I'm doing an art project involving horror and I need some ideas. What does /r9k/ find scary?
>what does /r9k/ find scurry?
Intimacy.
Girls.
I just can't handle that shit without peeing myself.

make it based off the george romero film martin it is my favorite movie
Imagine looking at a forest. It's an incredibly dense forest, you can't see what hides within it.
Meanwhile, whatever hides behind the trees can see you, that is, if there is something watching. Maybe you're safe, or maybe not, you can't really tell.
That spooks me out.
The blurriness between reality and nonreality always spoop me. Did I dream that? Dejavu again.Thinking back on a funny story only to later realize it wasn't me but something I had read. Talking to person I've known for a long time as if I were meeting them for the first time. Recognizing a total stranger as an old friend only for them to have no idea who I am. I don't know what kind of brain problems this is but it can make life unbearable at times. Always on bullshit mode because otherwise people get upset when memory is off. I'm pleasantly surprised and a little nervous when someone remembers me. I can't imagine being so entitled that get upset if my presence is not permanently etched into their memory. This si why 4chan is so comfy. We just talk about what we talk about and noone holds grudges or gets pissy because you don't know their great great great 4th cousins great great grandaughter's dogs name. Easy one would just be repeating dreams that are slightly different each time that are nearly identical to irl repeating days that are slightly different each time, the only indicator being subtle dream logic operating in background physics. Might be 2deep4audience but artfags like that pretentious shit. A horror so profound even the sad protagonist is unaware of what's fully occuring. Just a vague sense of wrongness.

I like supernatural shit in the right settings. Ghosts + school closed for the night is pretty damn creepy.

The unknown is often scarier than most jumpscare thriller junk.
