How do you approach women at a party you don't know? The few I've been to they're always with guys or mingling to each other and its almost impossible to break ice. If I wait long enough they usually start up a conversation with me for some reason (according to most people here that isn't supposed to happen?). I can kind of keep it going but they usually come up with most of the responses and then I end up leaving or something out of boredom and not knowing what to do. Do they just see me as a beta to have a conversation with and get their emotions out or some shit?

Step 1: Drink, but don't drink so much that you become a vomiting retard. Drink enough so you're confident but not retarded.
Step 2: Network. Get into a conversation with people you know or loosely know, contribute to the conversation. This will get more people to join and this means more grills.
Step 3: Pick a girl and talk to her about stuff. Ask her questions, see if you like her. Then just try make things fun.
It's important to not get nervous, be confident in yourself. It's important not to overthink things, it's just drinking and talking. Talk to her as you would your friend.
