>there are people here that are older than 25 and still haven't married
Sorry that your genes sucks, lol.
I don't know anybody who is 25 and married, is this an American meme?
>>38529490
It's the average age for marriage, since at that age you should have a house/apartment and a career.
>>38529528
I see you aren't living in the 2010s
>there are people here that are over 25 and haven't played this game
>>38529719
>21 have a degree in STEM
>Have done internship during my college years
>good CV + degree = career
>have a gf from college
> 3 years later
>saved money for a house
>three months later proposed to my gf
>married last year during summer
Life is great.
>>38529876
I'm happy for you. Don't have kids, they will mess up your perfect life.
>>38529528
The average age for marriage for a man in the US is apparently 29, in my country it's 32
>>38530653
Thanks, bro. We're planning to have kids around 3 to 4 years.
>>38529876

>>38529876
What magical land do you live in? I know Chemical Engineers who can barely afford to rent let alone get a fucking house. It seems every place where there is work has house prices through the fucking roof.
>>38530915
>why do I keep seeing supposedly successful people posting on this board of all places
You can thank /pol/ for that.
>>38530950

There's your answer.
>>38529528
>29 years old
>not gonna get married until the timing is right and I meet the right person
>in no rush to do anything because I am living consciously and determinately
>just now going to grad school because I am fully confident in my career choice aligning with my personality
>no mortgages or children tying me down or hamstringing my decisions
>meeting incredibly interesting people who are similar
>banging 19-21 year olds regularly
>have never been happier in my life

Do they have debt from their university?
None of this matters. We all get old and die alone.
>>38531269
It's called being happy, anon.
>>38531295
I'm happy when I have my solitude.
>>38531245
>Do they have debt from their university?
No they don't
>tfw ex-g/f is older than 25 and crying about not being married/with children by now
>>38531646
They must be living in a shitty state or piss poor money management .
>>38531554
You keep telling yourself that, friendo.
>>38531809
I live in Portland. The cheapest rent I could find this year was $850/mo. for a tiny ass studio apartment. Water, sewage, garbage, electricity, heating, laundry, internet were not included.
No you're not, you scummy fuck.
>>38529473
FUCK YOU STOCKING YOU FUCKING CUNT
YOU DESERVE ETERNAL DAMNATION
>>38529473
This. There simply is no excuse.
>>38531809
all remotely cheap housing is brought up by property speculators, you're pretty much not allowed to actually buy a house - everybody is well paid so nobody is
>>38531846
What's the worst that could happen as a result of enjoying my life alone?
>>38531861
My apartment cost $900/month at the time I've lived their. All I have to pay was light and internet bills (sometimes phone bill). I barely spend money.
>>38532019
What you're doing is settling for less. You're not a man.

>We're all gonna die soon anyways.
Isn't life about being happy, anon?
>>38532103
Doing what makes you happy when it doesn't fit in with social norms is "settling for less" now? The beautiful thing about living in the first world is that living alone is a new social norm. People don't have to live in a hut with 10+ kids and their extended family. I invite you to try reading the book "Singled Out" by Dr Bella DePaulo. It uses peer reviewed research to debunk some common myths about single people.
>>38529473
>getting married
why would you do this, do you love being a cuck and losing your money and property?
>>38532103
You're an idioto.
>>38532537
>None of this matters. We all get old and die alone.
Is this the answer that "makes you happy"?
Sounds like you don't give a fuck about anything.
>>38532629
That's called facing reality. We do get old and die alone regardless of how popular and attractive we were as younger people. Not giving a fuck about anything is what makes me happy. I used to have an anxiety disorder until I lived by the philosophy of thinking "so what" whenever an anxious thought pops into my head. This year is the first year in my life that I've had my anxiety under control. Since then I've made achievements like finishing my degree, learning to swim, getting a new job, going to the gym regularly and joining a sports team. You can call me anything but unhappy.

Man, how I love not feeling the need to fulfill arbitrary """"MALE"""" duties. Get bent geek
>>38529473
I've been in a relationship for a year and a half now. We both dislike the idea of marriage so we've decided against it at any point in the future.
